What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
Where: A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Brazos and Burleson.
When: Until 945 AM CDT.
Impacts: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Additional Details: - At 732 AM CDT, Local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Caldwell, Chriesman and Deanville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

At 606 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain with localized amounts over 4 inches have fallen over the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Hazard: Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

Impact: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include College Station, Bryan, Somerville, Snook, Millican, Kyle Field, Lake Somerville Dam, Wellborn and Lyons.
