Description

Observed flooding changed to Minor severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Missouri Big Piney below Fort Leonard Wood -East Gate affecting Pulaski County. James River at Galena affecting Stone County.
: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County. Osage River at Taberville affecting Vernon and St. Clair Counties. For the Little Osage Riverincluding Fulton, HortonMinor flooding is forecast. For the Osage Riverincluding TabervilleMinor flooding is forecast.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Osage River at Taberville.
When: Until Wednesday afternoon.
Impacts: At 23.3 feet, The handicapped access to the Osage River launch near Taberville floods.
Additional Details: - At 6:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 23.0 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:45 AM CDT Monday was 23.4 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.7 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet. - Flood HistoryThis crest compares to a previous crest of 23.5 feet on 01/19/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
