THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 200 IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN UTAH THIS WATCH INCLUDES 13 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL UTAH JUAB IN NORTHERN UTAH BOX ELDER CACHE DAVIS DUCHESNE MORGAN RICH SALT LAKE SUMMIT TOOELE UTAH WASATCH WEBER IN WYOMING THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST WYOMING UINTA THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS AMERICAN FORK, BOUNTIFUL, BRIGHAM CITY, CALLAO, COALVILLE, DUCHESNE, EVANSTON, FARMINGTON, GRANTSVILLE, HEBER CITY, HUNTSVILLE, LAKETOWN, LAYTON, LOGAN, MIDVALE, MORGAN, NEPHI, OGDEN, PARK CITY, PROVO, RANDOLPH, ROOSEVELT, ROY, SALT LAKE CITY, SANDY, STRAWBERRY RESERVOIR, SUGARHOUSE, TOOELE, TREMONTON, AND WOODRUFF.

At 214 PM MDT, elevated thunderstorms capable of producing gusty and erratic outflow winds were located along a line extending from 13 miles west of Utah Test and Training Range North to Delle, moving north at 50 mph.
Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.
Source: Radar indicated. The Eagle Range weather station location west of Lakeside observed a wind gust of 59 mph.
Impact: Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Delle, Knolls, Utah Test and Training Range North, Clive, Skull Valley, Great Salt Lake South of the Causeway, Hat Island, and Lakeside. This includes the following highway
S: Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 36 and 87. Utah Route 30 between mile markers 24 and 28.
