Description
Dry conditions will lead to near-critical fire weather conditions today. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 25 percent are expected with dry fuels. Northwest winds of 10 mph with gusts to 15 mph are forecast for this afternoon. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Description

Affected Area: In Minnesota, Koochiching, North Itasca, Central St. Louis, North Cass, South Itasca, South Cass, Crow Wing, Northern Aitkin, South Aitkin, Carlton and South St. Louis and Pine.
Winds: West 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Relative Humidity: As low as 20 percent.
Impacts: Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
